We are a not for profit, community-based, family service agency dedicated to strengthening and enriching people by providing counselling, advocacy, support and educational services.

Family Counselling and Support Services has been Guelph-Wellington's primary counselling, education, and services centre since 1987. We offer a wide range of counselling services for individuals, couples, and groups.

As a not-for-profit, community-based agency, we provide affordable counselling and support services to the citizens of Guelph-Wellington. Our services are funded primarily by local institutions and through partnerships with community organizations.

We also work with local businesses, offering conferences, workshops, wellness sessions, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs).

A private organization, Family Counselling and Support Services is governed by a local Board of Directors.

All our counsellors have at least a Master's degree in social work, psychology or counselling plus many years' experience.

We review staff performance annually to maintain our high standards.

Family Counselling and Support Services is also a training centre for students enrolled in professional programs at the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Counselling.
